Wedding Party Ideas
Last weekend our family celebrated a wedding and a 50th anniversary. The wedding filled with joy and fun. Beautifully decorated, everything black and white, the bride planned every little detail from the dessert table, center pieces, the delicious cake (vanilla with strawberries), the flowers, music, and the photo booth, where each one of the guest shared with the couple our most crazy faces, and attires (everything included), reflecting all the fun we had. With prints not just for us, but also for the happy couple… What I like most about the wedding is that the couple made us feel very special, kids included. Mine (12, 9 and 5 years old) danced, ate, and played. They participated one as ring bearer and another as one of the flower girls. On our way back home they all said “best party ever”.
That very same day 50 years ago, my parents-in-law also exchanged their vows in an equally romantic ceremony, but we decided to celebrate this event the next day with just family. As entertainment with had “mariachis” for the happy couple, delicious food and a very modern vanilla cake made by Lilly’s Cakes, filled with vanilla custard and fruits.
Both events represent two happy situations: the wedding means the beginning and the hope, for this road filled with happiness, sadness, kids, surprises, ups and downs… life… and this wedding anniversary represents that after all, happily ever after is very possible!
